Meet Freckles
Freckles is the moniker we gave her when she entered the shelter, but we sometimes feel we gave a cutesy name to a warrior princess. Though we’re not entirely sure of her background, she entered the shelter with a leg injury and walks with a limp as a result. This has never kept her from racing to the tops of cat trees or perching on the porch but leads us to believe her life before the shelter wasn’t so easy. A strikingly beautiful Tortie, Freckles was given her name because of the smattering of orange “freckles” across her nose. Initially, she was shy to staff and volunteers but has gotten to the point where she demands attention and head bumps.
