Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Frankie has juvenile stomatitis, where her body has a negative reaction to her teeth causing inflammation of her gums. Often this goes away with age and a steroid shot (depo medrol shot). She has been given her first depo shot and will receive another in 3months if needed. She may eventually need a partial or full mouth extraction. Her adoptive family must be prepared to provide her this treatment. Cost will vary depending on veterinary clinic and whether she needs a partial or full extraction, or possibly she will not need any teeth pulled at all. We will ask that any family talk to their vet to get an estimate of this cost prior to approval of adoption. Her one eye does get a bit watery occasionally (she scratched it in the hoarding house while trying to get food), when it gets irritated some artificial tears ointment from Walmart helps her. Our vet said nothing else will he needed for her eye. FeLV/FIV negative.
Good in a home with
Other cats, dogs, children.
Adoption fee
$85.00

SPECIAL NEEDS:
Our vet said nothing else will be needed for her eye, but to have your yearly vet check take a good look at it to be sure.
FeLV/FIV negative
MY STORY:
Frankie was rescued along with many of her kitty friends from a large hoarding case in Nevada. Several amazing other rescues stepped in to help save over 70 cats/kittens that all needed immediate vet care and some good food. Frankie was placed into an excellent foster home and she quickly realized that people were awesome and life was pretty darn fun.
Frankie is now healthy (besides what is written in her special needs area), has put on great weight, and is enjoying life as a pampered feline. She will need to be adopted into a home that has another friendly kitty. She is not super fond of being picked up, so older children only will be best who will respect that she doesn’t care to be held (over time she may come to enjoy being picked up).

THINGS I LIKE AND NEED:
*Good with Cats, Yes- will need to be adopted into a home with another fun kitty
*Good with Dogs, Yes
*Good with Kids, Yes- older children would be best as she is a bit shy
*Good with Litter Box, Yes
*I love feather wands and Hula Hoops.
*I would love a big cat tree that I can run up and down.
*A comfy place where I can watch out the window.
*Lots of attention from my family.
