Sweet boy Fluffy is searching for a haven of calm and gentle affection. This handsome 9-month-old orange tabby is a true love bug who thrives on human connection. Once he feels safe, Fluffy transforms into the ultimate lap cat, ready to purr his way into your heart and spend his days snuggled close by. While Fluffy is overflowing with affection for his people, new environments and other kitties can make him a little unsure. He tends to be hesitant and rather passive as he takes his time to assess new surroundings and feline friends. Because of this gentle nature, Fluffy would blossom in a calmer home where he can feel secure and build his confidence at his own pace. Fluffy tested faintly positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a virus that affects a cat's immune system and many FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, so Fluffy can safely live with FIV-negative cats in a home where they are not prone to aggressive fighting. We believe Fluffy would be a wonderful companion in a home with children over the age of 12 who can appreciate his need for gentle interactions and give him the space he needs to feel comfortable. If there are other kitties in the home, they would ideally be calm and friendly residents who will respect Fluffy's boundaries as he settles in. We don't recommend homes with large or boisterous dogs, as their energy might be overwhelming for our sweet Fluffy. If you have a peaceful home and a heart full of patience and gentle love to offer, Fluffy is waiting to share his unwavering affection with you. Fluffy's adoption fee is $250.
