Meet Flower
Flower is very loving & cuddly with her human momma, who bottle fed her from just a day old. She's good with the other foster cats in the house & loves to play with those close to her age. She seems to be good with kids also.
She does have special needs. Since she weaned to solid food, she's always had problems with loose stool. To the point to where she would randomly leak. So I started using pet diapers. She had been to the vet several times in the beginning & nothing was found in stool samples. So we determined that she could be allergic to something in food. So we've been trying several different foods, so far without success. So that's still ongoing. If we get updates, I'll add to this.
But she has a crate that she gets fed in & stays all night in. I put other cats' food up in the morning & put a diaper on her to let her out. A couple times a day I'll put her in the crate to eat & so the others can eat. And to give her time to use the litterbox without her diaper. And she's in the crate at night so she's not loading her diaper & irritating her skin. But I hate it cause she's such a cuddler! If I get to take a nap she cuddles so hard!
Despite her special needs, she would be a loving addition! If you're interested in a playmate, she's being fostered with Ginny, O'Malley, & Onyx. UPDATE: She has had much success with a prescription food! It's a little on the expensive side (Hills brand) but guaranteed she'll make up for it in love!
