Fletcher Domestic Short Hair Warminster, PA

Fletcher came off the street and was placed with one of our fosters. He is about 7 years young -- but you would think he's younger considering how playful and active he is. Fletcher has learned how to get attention and enjoys sleeping on his foster mom's lap, especially with the addition of being petted and with ear rubs. He rubs against her to get attention, and is very hard to ignore.

You may have noticed that Fletcher has a unique little face...Fletcher had to have most of his top teeth pulled, giving him a quirky face, which just makes him all the more loveable. Because he was stuck out on the streets, Fletcher was very food insecure when he came into our car. His desire to quickly eat any food that is available is getting better since he has been fed regularly for the last 8 months in his foster home.

Fletcher enjoys playing with his foster's resident cats. He hasn’t been aggressive with them, and he is not shy about getting close to them and trying to initiate play. Fletcher also likes to play with balls, especially ones that make noise, and will bat and chase them for a long time. He is interested in watching the birds and squirrels outside and acts like he wants to chase them. He is vocal (but not a meow) and will answer his foster's questions when she talks to him.

If you are looking for an active adult/senior kitty who likes attention, lap sitting, sleeping on your bed, and playing with toys, you should apply for Fletcher. He would do best in a home with adopters who will give him plenty of positive attention, letting him sit on a lap with lots of petting and ear rubs and scratching under his chin.
