Meet Firecracker

Firecracker was transferred to us because of her spicy nature. She lived up to her reputation for a while and we used an abundance of caution around her. However, as is sometimes the way, she simmered down once she settled in. Firecracker is independent and spends most of her time on the catio as she clearly likes the fresh air and sights out there. If she had a home with a big window she could sit at, she would be very happy.

Firecracker seeks out human attention these days, and in fact she kind of demands it. She will make a bee line for a lap and make her way to the chest area and settle in. Some of our volunteers feel a tad nervous with her nestled in so close to their faces, but she actually behaves herself (most of the time). The short fuse Firecracker had when she arrived has definitely lengthened but it is still there and she can give a mild swat sometimes. But then she is purring again and ready to move on as friends...

Firecracker is about 9 years old and has no known health concerns at this time.
