Fig Domestic Short Hair Las Vegas, NV

We love all the cats that come through our rescue, but Fig has stolen our hearts. This 1 1/2-year-old tuxedo kitty is such a good girl: calm, gentle, curious, playful, sweet, and giving. Giving you say? How can a cat be giving? Well, Fig came to us as a stray with a litter of small babies, and settled right in happily when she was placed in a foster home (which unfortunately tells us she had an owner that let her down somewhere). The next day, someone dumped 3 kittens around the same age in a box in front of a grocery store. We brought them to Fig, and she did not even hesitate to start cleaning them up and nursing them. She raised those three right alongside her own kittens, and they all ended up strong and healthy kittens under her care.

Fig's kittens are now all big enough for adoption, and Fig has been spayed (no more kittens for this mama, she has already given enough!). She's relaxed and friendly in our adoption center, and doesn't mind being around all the other cats at all. If you come by to see her she will probably be on her back, legs in all directions, snoozing away while the chaos goes on around her. She loves to be pet and brushed, and likes to lie in your lap and be held. She is mellow enough to be around gentle children and would make a wonderful family pet.
Fig is spayed, vaccinated as age appropriate, medically vetted, and litter box trained. Please stop by our adoption center during weekend walk-in hours or send us a message to request a weekday appointment to meet this special mama!
