Fennec's Story

Fennec is a sweet, gentle black house panther with the biggest Lemur eyes that feel like he can see straight into your soul, and likes what he sees. He's a pretty lucky boy--a Good Samaritan found him outside on the street by himself at ~6 weeks old, *covered* in fleas, who dropped off at a Petco, where he came into ECAR's care. He was so happy to be around people he purred and purred the entire time he was being flea-combed. (He did stop purring during the flea bath ) He was so grateful for food and affection from humans and VERY playful and nippy, but he needed a cat buddy his size, so his foster took in some brothers for him, Firefox and Swiper. With them, he's blossomed into an even sweeter, more confident cat with MUCH better manners. At any given moment they're either wrestling with or chasing each other all over the house, but when playtime is over Fennec just wants a good cuddle on his person's lap. He's doesn't mind being held, but he usually has better things to do, like play. He hasn't been directly exposed to dogs or children, but would likely be fine with either if they're respectful and given the right slow introduction, and he gets along great with the resident kitties ranging from 1-8 years old. Fennec would make a great addition to most families!
