Meet Fae

Medical: Fae was diagnosed with eyelid agenesis and has been treated by Dr. Brinkman. She will need eyedrops 2 to 3 times a day for the rest of her life. Also appears to have an allergy to chicken and does best on Duck based food.

Describe a typical day with this kitty: Fae is a wonderful girl who loves to sunbathe often. She finds her favorite place and lets the sun do it's thing. She loves food and snacks whenever possible. Playtime is limited between snacks and napping.

Describe kitty's typical playtime activity: She loves to play with all kinds of toys. She does her best to play with as many as she can, not to leave any toy untouched. She gets along well with her foster cat siblings and enjoys their company during playtime.

Describe kitty's general behavior: Playful; Rambunctious; Affectionate; Likes Some Activity; Plays with Toys

Okay with pets/animals
How does kitty react around new pets/animals? She is nervous around anyone new, but curious to meet new cats. The only dogs she has met are excited and barking dogs at adoption events.

Handling:
When I pick up kitty: Purrs and cuddles
How kitty enjoys Petting: Loves it
Does kitty enjoy lap time: Definitely, and being brushed
Has kitty been introduced to dogs? Yes, but her experience is only limited to dogs at adoption events who are excited, anxious and bark. She may do better with a quiet, calm, older dog and do slow and proper introductions in a quiet environment.
Does kitty like being around children? She has never been around children, she would do better with older children who can understand how to be around a cat with a medical concern. She loves attention and would thrive with extra loving from children who know how to be safe around her.
Is kitty litterbox trained: Yes
What type of litter: Clumping
Does kitty have accidents in the house: No
All of our kitties have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and come with a free post-adoption wellness check-up with our veterinarian.
