Meet our Altadena survivor, a 12-year-old queen who has truly earned her peace. After weathering the streets, she has mastered the art of calm living. Super chill and independent, she does her own thing, and that thing is usually a well-deserved nap. She’s content just being near you, quietly keeping you company, even if she’s not curled up right against you. She might startle easily, but she forgives just as quickly, always ready to reset with a slow blink and soft purr.

She’s a polite communicator, especially around mealtime. If dinner’s running late, she’ll tap your leg or let out one gentle meow to remind you it’s time to serve her favorite part of the day. Churu is king, with cheese coming in a close second, and she’s been happily eating grain-free meals like Dave’s chicken and I and Love and You dry food.

She loves a strong chin or neck scritch and will nuzzle close when the mood strikes, often settling in as the big spoon. She prefers a side approach when being pet and may guide your hand with her paw or mouth to show you where she wants attention. She’s a big fan of an enthusiastic brushing and will melt into it once you find her rhythm.

She has her own signature move called twinkle toes, a little ballerina dance she does when she’s feeling especially flirty and pleased with herself. It’s her way of saying she’s happy to see you, and it never fails to make you smile. Though she’s not one for climbing or jumping, she loves to weave between your legs as you walk, brushing gently against each step, often ending up right behind you, so tread carefully. When catnip time rolls around or after she’s used her litter box, her playful streak shines through, complete with zoomies and an impressive wand toy chase.

She’s happiest as the only cat in the house and isn’t shy about making sure neighborhood visitors know it. She’ll thrive in a quiet adult home with someone who appreciates her independence and understands her gentle, quirky ways.

She’s so easy to love, a peaceful companion who has survived much and still offers her quiet warmth freely. All she wants now is a safe, loving home where she can nap, snack, and twinkle her little happy feet straight into your heart.
