Experienced owners needed for adult cats Domestic Short Hair Mix Wayland, MA

We have a variety of beautiful kitties in need of experienced cat owners. Why experienced owners? Well, many of these kitties were found abandoned. Most have developed either some fear of people, or some "less than perfect" habits-- perhaps being timid around people initially, using claws when playing, or just plain playing too rough. That "edge" means, to us at least, that they should go to someone who is more "cat savvy". We have cats who have been indoor only pets, but play rough, and need a person/family that will play properly with them, and teach them correct play habits. We have a momma kitty, Orange Blossom who was abandoned 2 years ago, and is lovely, but has a fear that causes her to occasionally swat-- though she doesn't use her claws. She is a beautiful Abyssinian looking orange girl, who would like to be an only pet- we think- but needs an understanding person. She LOVES treats, and will purr and rub on her foster mom to get them-- even hop into her lap to get some. But a few minutes later, she may run and hide, fearful of a new noise. (who can blame her-- she raised 2 litters of kittens on the streets).
