Meet Euclid

Named after the Father of Geometry, EUCLID wears his black and white fur coat medium-length, accessorized with white ear tufts and a feather duster tail, about 8 months old. Euclid has a cautious, yet curious personality. Once you've been acquainted, he is ready to play with wand toys or chase a laser pointer. He loves to be brushed and scratched around his head and back and is agreeable to being picked up and placed on your lap for a quick cuddle. Euclid has learned the art of leg-weaving and utilizes it whenever he thinks it is time to eat. He is a good eater and usually finishes quickly, in the hopes of getting some of someone else's. He enjoys sunny window sills and listening to the birds outside. Euclid was rescued from a colony of cats and he turned out to be a shy, sweet kitty. Euclid was scared when he first came with his sister to his foster home and would only come out if the resident cats came to visit him. Once he noticed all the attention and treats the other kitties were getting, he decided the house cat life looked pretty good. He prefers slow introductions, quiet voices, and the company of another feline friend, to boost his confidence. Euclid's easy to learn to love! No all-night cram sessions necessary, just a simple home with a few close friends.

Euclid has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet (Cat Name) in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2103-C0140
