Meet Essay

Meet Essay!

Essay originally came to Tenth Life as a homeless pregnant mom. She had 7 adorable babies who all found wonderful forever homes. Now it's mom's turn!

Essay is doing very well in the communal cat setting at our Adoption Lounge, but just between me and you, she would NOT be upset if she could be someone's only cat. Ideally, she would prefer not to compete for your attention. However, she would probably also do fine with another cat--as long as the other cat is willing to let Essay be in charge! She is definitely an alpha girl and likes to run things.

Essay is an expert lap cat who will seek you out for affection. She loves to cuddle and get up close and give kisses. She has been known to give a love bite now and then, but these have just been nips (no skin broken). We think she does this when she is nervous or overstimulated. Or maybe she's just trying to tell us that we aren't very good at petting her? Like we said, she's in charge!

You can meet Essay during open hours at our Adoption Lounge or by appointment. This special lady wants nothing more than to be loved in a home of her own. Maybe that home is yours!
