Esmeralda and her brother were found in the bushes at a local grocery store. The Nob Hill litter were pretty thin and dehydrated, but are quickly recovering in their Salinas foster home. These Russian blue mix kittens have settled in to their home and love their foster family. Esmeralda is very friendly and confident around people, just like her brother, Jackson. She and her brother love exploring the objects in their home, and dashing around and chasing each other. However, when it's time for a nap, they will quickly find a foster parent's lap to snooze on and recharge their batteries.
