Meet Ernie

ERNIE is a sweet and gentle orange tabby boy, about 2 years old. He was rescued from a hoarder situation in Oakridge and flourished in a loving foster home. Ernie is a very shy kitty with people he doesn't know. But once he gets to know his human(s), he is very loving and affectionate. He loves to be held while you scratch his belly or head. It will take some love, patience and time for him to transition into his new home, but this special guy is well worth the effort! Ernie is fine with other cats, although with his timid personality he should not be paired with a dominant cat. He needs a home with quiet, gentle and loving humans. He will likely do well with calm, cat savvy older children and dogs. Will Ernie be your new furry additions to your home?

ERNIE has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet ERNIE in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2102-C0075
