Meet Ernie
Ernie adores other cats! The perfect playmate, he's happy just hanging out or playing with his kitty companions. Laser pointers, giant stuffed mice and puzzle toys are just a few of his favorite items. He currently lives in an office here at the shelter with two of his feline friends. He is the purrfect office cat. He is very neat and tidy and never knocks the pen's office on the desk on to the floor.
He tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). You certainly wouldn't guess that by looking at him or listening to him. He has no visible signs of the condition. Besides being FIV, he has no health issues. And he's still quite young, born in 2017. He is also a lover cat, not a fighter and could live happily in a home with other cats. So if you like lap cats, Ernie will gladly take that spot for years to come.
