Ernest and Emily are a 5-month-old brother/sister duo looking for their forever home!

Ernest is the definition of a lover—physical touch is definitely his love language. If you haven't given him a hug in a while, he will absolutely remind you with a meow, so you don't forget! He loves to purr and nuzzle into you for a super sweet cuddle. When he's not loving you up, he's a typical goofy kitten. He loves running around, exploring, working from home (he loves the computer cursor!), or pouncing on his own reflecting in the window.

Emily has a sweet, delicate wallflower personality. She loves her brother more than anything, but is still trying to figure out why he thinks humans are so cool. Emily has come a long way in learning to trust us—she even surprised herself when she discovered that she actually liked getting pets from her humans! She prefers pets mostly when she's sleepy and prefers that her humans approach slowly, so she doesn't get startled.

Emily loves to play with toys, especially wand toys and strings, and enjoys the freedom to explore the house on her own terms. She's a super sweet girl who, with the right forever family and some time, will no doubt become a great addition to the family. It may take some time to earn her trust fully, but once you do, I can guarantee you will be her person for life!

These sweeties are typical kittens - they love to play, sleep, eat food and treats, and repeat! They have spurts of energy where they will play with their toys or run around and wrestle, followed by super-sweet, cuddly times when they curl up for a good nap. Some of their favorite places to sleep are on the top of a cat tree, on a cozy chair, or on their shelf in front of the window.

As kittens, they need a family who is willing to devote time every day to playing with them and giving them lots of attention. They love to follow you around and observe you in your normal everyday tasks, so expect little helpers getting into things with everything you do!

Currently, Ernest and Emily live with two humans in a two-story townhome. They previously lived with their other siblings and did great with other cats. They can get easily startled, so probably only slower, calm dogs would be best with these two, along with older, cat-savvy tweens or teens.

These two cuties are looking for a forever home that has a lot of love to give! They will need a patient family who knows their history (they were found living in a sewer under the road in Minneapolis and didn't have a great experience with humans when they were found) and who understands their need for time to build trust.

Ernest and Emily are an amazing yin-yang duo who will be so happy to find their forever family to grow up and settle down with! They have been through so much, and will truly thrive with the right loving, caring family to help them live a new and beautiful life.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
