Emmett's Story

Hi, my name is Emmett! I'm a brown tabby with white female, born approximately 5/04/2018. My journey has had a few ups and downs. I was returned to Wild Blue Cats because I didn't get along with the other kitty in my home and I had some trouble with my litter box. The good news is that I did just fine with the family dogs, so I might be open to a canine buddy again in the right home! I do well with kind and patient kids too!
You might notice something special about my eyes. My left eye has a little lesion that goes across my pupil, but don't worry, it doesn't hurt me at all and I don't need any treatment for it. It just makes me uniquely me! I can be shy and nervous at first, but once I feel safe, my personality shines. I'm very talkative and love to chirp to let you know I'm ready for attention. I absolutely adore pets, brush time, and even belly rubs. I'm also a biscuit-making pro! It's my way of showing how happy and content I feel. And when I'm purring, it's loud and steady, because nothing makes me happier than being loved.
I'm hoping for a patient, understanding family who can give me the time I need to adjust and blossom, without other cats. Once I know I'm safe, I'll reward you with endless affection, conversation, and cuddles! If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt. I can't wait to show you what a special lady I am!
