FOSTER REASON: Right now, Elvis is hanging out in his foster home while we wait for his ringworm PCR test results-a curable fungal infection that just needs some topical and oral medication. I'll heal much faster in a foster home than in the shelter! Ringworm can be contagious to humans and pets through close contact, so a bathroom or another easy-to-clean space is perfect for keeping me separated while I recover. The shelter will provide everything-medication, cleaning supplies, extra bedding, and plenty of guidance. All I need is a little patience, some foster love, and someone willing to help me heal! He's doing great and feeling happy and healthy - we're just taking a little extra caution to make sure he's all clear before he can officially meet his forever family.
