We adopted a gorgeous short haired deep black lady kitty cat (Elvira) from the shelter. Elvira is wonderful, on her own but would prefer to be on her own. She's not open to another cat or dog in the house. Elvira is about 2 years old, loves to play with pipe cleaners and is great with kids. She gets up in bed with our 4 year old for book and bed time.
