Elton's Story
Elton is a large boy with an even larger heart! This sweet, affectionate gentleman loves everyone he meets and is always ready to share some love (and maybe a few head bumps). Despite his age, he still has a playful side—rolling around and enjoying his toys like a kitten at heart. Elton has an autoimmune disorder that may flare up from time to time, but it doesn’t require medication. A calm, low-stress environment helps keep him feeling his best, so he’d do best in a quiet home without children. He seems okay with other cats, especially if they’re gentle and laid-back like him. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion with plenty of personality and purrs to give, Elton is your guy!

All cats and kittens come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $50.00 for adult cats and $75.00 for kittens under 6 months old at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our cats or kittens.

To be approved, you can apply in person or online at:
https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/1486/Adoption-Application
Applications can take a few business days to be approved and you will be emailed with communications regarding your application.
