We adopted Elsa when she was just 7 weeks old, since then she’s been a part of our family. Elsa is the sweetest little girl, she makes the best nap buddy, and loves scratches and cuddles. We are unfortunately having an elderly family member move in who is highly allergic to cats, and who will require extensive around the clock care. Elsa thrives when she has plenty of couch time with her people and we want her to continue to have a home with the attention she deserves.
We want to find her a super stable inside only home.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Elsa is very social! Sdoes really well with kids, and also does well with dogs! Elsa needs a home where she is the only kitty! Elsa loves being brushed and enjoys being a lap kitty! Elsa is an indoor kitty only, and is very afraid to be outdoors.

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): We will include her small cat tree, cat scratchers, a box of her cat litter( Elsa has a favorite litter)and a bag of her food along with her toys.

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Royal Canin dry food, and occasionally a can of wet food.

:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
