Elsa is a 2-year-old, playful cat looking for her forever home!
This pretty lady is a lovely but hesitant sweetheart. She's wary of sudden movements or sounds, new people, and new/loud noises. She appreciates having a safe space to retreat to when needed but will quickly come back out when she's feeling safe.

Once this beautiful tabby girl feels comfortable with people, she enjoys getting all the pets! She may aggressively request pets by head butting, arching her back, or standing on her hind legs to meet your hand. Shortly after the petting starts, she usually becomes a purring machine. She'll meow to greet you and eagerly run to you when you call so she can receive pets. She doesn't mind being held or resting in your arms/lap and will let you know when she's had enough.

She loves playing with catnip and spring toys. She enjoys cave beds as they allow her a safe retreat and lounging on blankets, but if they're not stacked to her liking, she will turn them into her purrfect nest. She seems to prefer vertical sisal scratching posts when she gets the urge to scratch.

Elsa has a fair amount of energy, but also likes to balance that with some time lounging on her own or on the human's lap. She'll exercise on her own by running up and down the stairs, playing with her favorite toys, or climbing a tall scratching post, but she also enjoys interactive play with chaser toys and laser pointers.

This sweetie pie needs a home where she can get a lot of attention, have space to roam once she's acclimated, and places to hide and climb. It’s best to only have accessible hiding spots that are easy to take her out of, if necessary, since she may hide under the middle of your bed (for vet or emergencies). She needs a home with loving people who can be patient and read her body language to make sure she feels comfortable. She benefits from starting in a small room before exploring the whole house and will likely startle easily with human movement during that process until she becomes comfortable with the new space.

Patience and understanding will be necessary with this cute girl—you will be rewarded with her affection. It may take some for her to come out of hiding when you enter a room. Just by spending time in the room with her (even if she is hiding) will help her gain confidence and trust.

Elsa would do well with other gentle cats with a slow introduction. Dogs and kids are unknown, but she would probably be okay with calm, older children who would respect her cautious nature.
