Meet Elmo
** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay neuter/surgery**
Check out this cute little guy! This is the adorable, Elmo! This wonderful boy and his brother Gordon were found as tiny stray kittens and brought to the shelter so that they could find their loving forever homes. These terrific boys have an estimated birthdate of 5/12/24 , so they're just 13 weeks old. These little cuties have been lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home, which is where they currently reside. Elmos's foster mom reports that he's a fun and playful little guy, who loves his brother Gordon. He can't get enough playtime and he absolutely loves toys of all shapes and sizes. He also loves to cuddle up with his people, so he's a well rounded guy who knows how to have fun and relax when the time feels right! Sweet Elmo is a fan of the adult cats and dogs in his foster home and he gets along with everyone he meets. This sweet boy would love to be adopted with Gordon as they are the best of friends! Kittens do SO MUCH better in pairs when they have a friend. Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing! We want our furbabies and our adopters to have long term success and a house full of happy people and kitties! Would you like to meet this cutie patootie and and Gordon too? Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
