Elmo Domestic Short Hair Vine Grove, KY

Elmo is a handsome, 6 year old, black and white kitty, who is very affectionate and loves taking walks with our dogs at the shelter. Considering that at one time, Elmo was very much a loner he has turned over a new leaf. Elmo talks to us all the time and loves sitting in our laps and being pet, but where he truly seems happiest these days is following along with our dog walkers when they are walking our pups.

Elmo's ideal home would be an indoor/outdoor home with a cat friendly dog. Elmo does get along well with female cats, but has issues with alpha males. Elmo is still waiting for the purrfect person and he is very eager to show you just how smart and sweet he is.

Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
