Ella's Story
Please contact Lauren McCarty (laurenmc@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet baby kitten in search of her forever home!ELLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!

Name: Ella Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: 6 months as of 9/4/25 - Known DOB 3/4/25 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 2.46 lb
Coloring: Gray Type of Hair: Short
Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Ella will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We're happy to help with tips and tricks!
Litter/Lives With: Agatha, Eden
Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area
I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Ella and I am a cute little kitten! I won't ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too!
What my Foster Says About Me: Ella has blossomed so much over the past weeks! She is much more confident and trusting. She loves to play with her litter mate, but is also more of a laid back kitten. She loves to sit and observe, including watching the neighborhood from the window. She still isn't a big fan of being picked up, but she enjoys a good ear scratch! Ella may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new home, but anyone who gives her time and patience will have a great friend!
I call Ella the peacemaker of the group. She absolutely loves her siblings and adores playing with them (with a slight preference for Eloise and Eden), but does so in the most respectful way! She was also the kindest to her non-littermate foster sibling the first time she was introduced. She has a beautiful grey coat. She took a couple of days to get used to me (probably didn't help that I tried to clean her paws the day I brought her home - I mean, what kitten would like that?!?!) but she has seen from her siblings that I am not so bad, and she is now climbing in my lap and in my chair and leaning in to ear scratches. She loves to play, but also sleep, even when her siblings may be trying to get her attention :). Ella is a kind cat who is good with kids she has met (ranging from age 8 to 16) and is using the litter box with no problems. I think she will be great in a house willing to give her a little time to feel comfortable with her new people.
What the Shelter Says About Me: Ella is a beautiful girl! She has such a soft coat and her coloring is so pretty. She is a dark gray with darker gray marbled stripes. When you get to the tip of her tail it almost looks black. She is coming slowly out of her shell but she still has a way to go before she is ready for Broadway! Her foster is working hard to get her there.
Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the cats we have for adoption.
