Ella

Sweet Ella arrived from Kentucky in September with her litter of kittens. Her babies were old enough to be separated so they were placed in a different foster home. Ella was very frightened when she arrived and although she was happy to be petted and held, she spent most of her time hiding under the bed and only came out when she was alone in the room. We moved her into a large crate so we could socialize her more and she has gradually become comfortable being in the room with us loose. <br/><br/>Ella loves to knead and will lay in your arms for attention, but new things (e.g. turning the shower on) are still scary to her. <br/><br/>She seems interested in resident cats. Ella will take some time and patience to adjust to a new home and will be most happy quiet home.<br/><br/>Adopters must live within 75 miles of Racine, WI. Adoption fee for one cat is $100.00, two for $150.00. This radius is in place due to ongoing medical care we provide post-adoption.<br/><br/>Most of our cats are in our office and you can come meet them. For those, we look to have an approved application prior to sending someone to a private residence. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an application. There is no cost or obligation to apply.<br/><br/>All cats will be up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered*, microchipped and a 30-day health certificate. *If they are too young to be altered, the fee includes spay/neutered at one of our preferred clinics.
