- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Blind. Emilio is FIV positive but lives with two non-fiv feline siblings and gets along perfectly well with them. Also, when the foster family vaccinated Emilio, they noticed a negative immune response reaction. We do not recommend that Emilio receives any more Virus or Rabies vacations. Since Emilio cannot continue his vaccines, any other animals within the home should have up-to-date vaccinations. Emilio will require yearly bloodwork to ensure he is healthy and to spot any issues prior to them becoming a major issue. .

Meet Electric Emilio
Emilio is a unique and high-energy kitten that has not left his disability to impair his quality of life in the least. Emilio was board into a hoarding situation and rescued around the age of 4m in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Emilio was born with one non-functioning eye and the other was badly infected. The clinic tried to save the one eye for over a month but it was decided that removal of both eyes would improve his quality of life.
Emilio loves to play fetch with his favorite ball that has a bell and climb everywhere he can. Emilio has two feline brothers who he loves to play with but he can be very picky on which new cats and kittens he accepts into his inner circle.
Emilio loves to follow you around 24/7 and sleeps through the night perfectly. He only needs an hour or two to completely map out a new apartment or home – his foster mom jokes that he is a Roomba.
Emilio would do best in a home with experienced cat owners, that has a lot of activity or a family who can spend a lot of time with him since he is very high energy and requires adequate playtime to burn off all of his energy. He loves children but he is quite playful so a home with children under the age of 4 years old may not be ideal. He would also love a cat sibling who is younger and would like to engage in play.
Emilio is 11m, Sterilized, FIV positive, FELV negative, dewormed, and vaccinated. His foster mom will fly him up to Boston from Old San Juan, Puerto Rico when the adoption is approved.
