Ekko Domestic Short Hair Virginia Beach, VA

Ekko was like a secret agent rescued from a top-secret mission back at the start of the year. He was super sneaky and kept to himself, but guess what? He is slowly coming out of his shell and starting to appreciate a good ol' petting session! Armed with a backscratcher, a trusty brush, and some loving hands, we're on a mission to earn his trust and make him feel like the superstar he is. It's a heart-melting sight to see him relax and relish in the joy of pets and cuddles. Day by day, we're building a bond filled with kindness and understanding, giving this once shy dude a new lease on life.

Ekko is still shy but loves to play. We are still working on socializing but he is a fun playful cat. He is bonded with his brother Gnar. They communicate with each other with cute trills.

July2024 update. Super curious and super playful. Still doesn't trust being pet. He only allows pets while eating his wet food. He will give a full tail lift. Outside of wet food time he looks for comfort from his brother Ekko. He does walk and lay around his foster home with confidence. He rubs his face on chair legs, so he does enjoy a good face rub.

Update October. Still only allows pets during wet food and squeeze treats time, but he is purring and enjoying pets.
