They say a cat has 9 lives, well it’s definitely true for EDGAR!!

This sweet boy is about 8 years old and has been living outdoors his whole life. A few years ago, some people took him under their wing and began feeding him and giving him a safe place in their garage. Sadly Edgar started showing the wear and tear of outdoor life and needed immediate medical attention.

This sweet boy is now at the vet where he is receiving medical care for an infection in his mouth, which is from an animal bite, and a sprain to his leg.

He is FIV positive and will Never live outside again. He needs a loving home where he can stay safe and healthy.

He is boarding at the vet now, where he is receiving tons of love but can not stay at the there indefinitely.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is a very manageable, but often misunderstood illness. FIV only affects cats and is not spread by casual contact. With good care, FIV cats can live long and happy lives.

Edgar is all personality and is an easy going boy that can live comfortable with kids, other cats and dogs. He is adaptable and just needs a warm home and some love.
