Meet Eda and King (bonded pair)

Eda & King (bonded siblings)

This brother and sister pair are about 3.5 months old. They were born into a feral colony and came into
foster care at 8 weeks. Although they knew nothing about humans, these two decided right away that
they enjoyed our company. They are likeable, confident, people-oriented kittens who will fit right into
just about any family.

Eda (grey and white) was the only one in the litter to climb straight into her foster human’s lap the
morning after they arrived. If you’ve spent time with recently-rescued kittens, you know how
remarkable this is! She is super-confident and almost always wants to be held…then she does a quick
explore…then returns for more holding and pets. Her fur is sleek and silky to the touch.

King (black and white) was cautious for a few days longer than his sister but then decided he belonged
and got comfy. He’s the first to climb, explore, and battle any available toy. He frequently seeks
attention and petting and he has learned the trick of rubbing up against human ankles and mewing
adorably. His coat is a little fluffier than Eda’s and very, very soft.

Eda and King have special feet! They both have a few toes conjoined and Eda even has two nails
emerging from the same digit. This gives them no physical trouble at all but it makes their front paws
look extra cute and tiny. They run, climb, and use their scratchers with zero difficulty. Not all their
claws fully retract so they do need nail trims to avoid getting stuck to their environment.

King and Eda have been foster roommates with a middle-school-aged human child, so we know they get
on well with older kids. They are both friendly towards the adult resident cats in their foster home.
They have never met a dog or tiny human child but given their outgoing personalities, we think they
would enjoy any playmates (if properly introduced and supervised).
