DUSTY & MOCHA Siamese & Domestic Long Hair Mix Kenosha, WI

DUSTY is a 5 year old SEAL POINT SIAMESE. He is neutered, FIV and FeLV negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and had a recent dental. He has all of his claws.

MOCHA is a 4 year old DILUTE TORTI DOMESTIC LONGHAIR. She is spayed, FIV and FeLV negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She has all of her claws. Both cats are being fostered in Kalamazoo, MI.

Dusty and Mocha came to the rescue after their owner passed away. Someone took over their care from the owner and unfortunately Mocha and Dusty came to the rescue in very poor condition. They were so badly flea infested, their skin was torn to shreds from scratching. Despite all they had been through, they are some of the nicest cats that just love people. They were quickly cleared of their fleas and with some help and time, their skin started healing. Their coats are still growing back all the hair they lost from scratching and their skin is still a little rough from all the trauma but they are looking much better. Their vet feels that because of all the trauma to their skin and lack of good nutrition for years, it may take a while for their skin and coat to really look nice. However, a little fish oil added to their food daily may help speed this along, so the foster has been adding fish oil to their food. Once the hair fully grows in, they will look absolutely wonderful.

These sweet babies never let anything get them down. They just want someone to love them. They have been together their entire lives and when they first came to care, Dusty was really reliant on Mocha as she was the more outgoing one. He followed her lead on everything and now he is extremely confident. These are definitely two cats who will want to snuggle with their humans.

They get along great with each other and would probably do fine in a home with other mellow cats as long as proper introductions are done. They have lived with dogs before and did well with them. They would be good with gentle children as well.

Both cats have had good litter box manners in their foster home and have been good at using their scratching posts. Both Mocha and Dusty really enjoy cat towers as they like to perch on the top post in front of a sunny window. Dusty really loves his food. They both eat wet and dry food, but they especially love their twice daily wet food which they eat up quickly! Mocha is a very odd cat that absolutely loves the vacuum cleaner. She actually enjoys if you run the handheld part of the vacuum over her coat and she will intentionally run over and put herself near the vacuum hose to get “pet” with it. Both Mocha and Dusty love to roll all around trying to get as much attention as they can.

These are two absolutely wonderful cats that would really like to remain together. They are truly sweethearts that deserve to be absolutely spoiled in their next home. ADOPTION FEE (for both) $200. FOSTERED IN KALAMAZOO, MI
