What is Franklin County Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

*To be the primary caretaker of this animal and will not sell, adopt or give said animal to another party, I will notify FCAR if the animal becomes lost or stolen or if my contact information/ address changes. *To provide, at my own expense: adequate food, water, shelter, medical care, exercise, licensing and vaccinations in accordance with Vermont state laws. *To not allow the animal outdoors without proper supervision, leash or harness and will adhere to all Vermont State Laws. *To care for my new pet in a humane and patient manner and notify FCAR, or my veterinarian, immediately for guidance if my pet is showing issues of any kind. *I understand all adoptions are final and that there are no refunds. *To do my due diligence to work through any issues. If it becomes necessary to return the animal I will immediately notify FCAR. I understand I must make an appointment and pay a surrender fee. Only adoptable animals will be considered returnable. *To not use my pet for experimentation purposes or as a guard animal.
