Meet Dottie

Dottie is a female Domestic short-haired Cat who is looking for a new home. She was brought to the shelter with Kit due to their owner having too many animals. She is litter-box trained, and gets along with other cats. We are unsure how she is with dogs, or small children. If interested in meeting her please call 419-294-4477 Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)

*Return Policy: If an adopter cannot keep an adopted pet for any reason, the animal must be returned to WCHS. Because of our strict return policy, adoptions to homes more than 100 miles away will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
