Dorothy is a vocal and affectionate girl who enjoys her head scratches. She enjoys playing with toys and exploring her surroundings. She also appreciates the occasional snack. She can coexist with dogs, she just prefers they maintain some distance. She gets along fine with other cats too. She likes sitting by the window in her room to bird watch.

This sweet girl will make a great little companion kitty to people as well as another cats.

Dorothy stays in a foster home where she has been exposed to dogs, cats and children. She is not super fond of loud, rambunctious children, so she would be happiest in a home without children, or older children. She would also be fine in a home where children visit, like grandkids.

She is well rounded and would be just as content to be an only cat to receive all of the love and affection.

*All cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption and tested for FIV/FeLV.

Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.

WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks.
We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT and NY. Our cats travel in comfort with 24/7 care, each crate has food, water, litterbox and a hammock as well as a blanket. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019.
