Hi, I'm Doris! I'm a 1 year old dilute tortie girl who is not super happy about being here at the shelter. You might not even see me at first, because I might be hiding under my blanket or towel. But if you lift it up and go slowly with me, you'll find that I do love pets and getting love. I like face and chin scritches, and I'm okay with being held if you're holding me so I feel safe. I'm going to be a great snuggler once I find my furever home--I already like to curl up and purr very loudly when I'm getting pets!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
