Meet Dorian Gray

Mr. Dorian Gray is a loving, cuddly, and sweet 4-year-old gray kitty who deserves to have the rest of his life be filled with warm blankets and soft cuddles at a new forever home!

Mr. Gray is very vocal and will have short chirps that will say he wants to be pet, fed, or snuggle with you! He will also take his little paw and tap you softly until he gets pet and to purr at you.

He is a kitty that loves sleeping with his humans. He will put his front paws on your chest, and lay on you like a surfboard, bringing his front feet over you and keeping his hind legs on the other side! He will love sleeping right next to your face, and will purr the whole night through!

He had a very tough life before coming to Pet Haven, and there are some days when he becomes overwhelmed and falls back into hissing and scared behavior. All he needs is to be left alone for a 20-minute nap and he’s back to his loving self!

He is not super toy motivated, and mainly wants to focus on cuddling, pets, and chirping at you!

He enjoys looking at the window for birds and laying by your side at all times!

He will race onto the bed when he hears his human wake up at 6:30 for 30 minutes of snuggle time. While his human is at work, he goes between sleeping and using his scratch pole. When his human comes home, it’s snuggle and nap time until 10 pm bedtime!

Mr. Gray currently lives in a one-bedroom apartment with his foster mom and foster sibling, Glinda who is a 3-year-old tabby cat.

Mr. Dorian Gray would do best in an apartment or small house setting with one to two adults to love him. Mr. Gray would not do well with any other cats, dogs, or children in the home due to his fearful behavior.

He will need a solid commitment from his new parents to provide him with the patience and love he needs until he is ready to trust them. Dorian will not be successful with a first-time cat owner.

Mr. Gray is an incredibly loving kitty that needs a chance to open up and share his sweet soul. He was two hours away from being euthanized at the shelter when he came into my home, and I have noticed signs of past abuse from humans based on his early reactions. He has had a very hard 4 years, and I will do whatever I can within my power to make sure the next twenty years are filled with nothing but love and feeling safe.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
