Dorian's Story

Meet Dorian!

Dorian, aka Dory, is a 5-6 month-old female kitten who is looking for her forever home! She's extremely affectionate once she gets to know you, whether it's lying down next to you while you take a nap or practically begging for pets through her adorable meows if she's not seen you for more than 15 minutes.

Dory might be a bit standoffisih at first, but once she gets to know you, and trust you, she'll love lap time and gentle scratches on her head and face. Dory loves to play, especially when you hide the toy beyond something it's one of the best ways to get her from stalking to moving! She also loves rope toys and basically anything that moves, including watching birds, whether through a real window or on the TV.

She's not the biggest fan of being picked up (though I'm sure that with time and plenty of treats, she'll come around to it). She's not a picky eater and will eat anything that's in front of her (she goes crazy for anything with chicken). She also loves treats and will fall in love with you much quicker if you bribe her with Churu.

Like any other kitten in our rescue, Dory is required to be adopted to a home with another playful dog or cat

Dory is up-to-date on shots, dewormed, FeLV/FIV negative, spayed and micrcochipped.

Please apply using the following instructions if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails: Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the cat is on our website, they are still available.

Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.

Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org

This is the time to determine whether a dog's personality is a match for your whole family and other animals, and to see if you have allergies. Please don't wait until after adopting to really touch and handle a dog, skip the antihistamines and get those allergens all over you now! STEP 3: You love the dog!
