Meet Dori

Tori and Dori are a bonded pair that have been with their foster for about a year now.

Dori is a lap cat, affectionate, and demands attention (when she sees Tori getting pets). She's into naps on the highest limb of the cat tree and loves getting daily grooming from her sister.

Dori will occasionally sleep under covers with her fosters at night.

Tori is a petite talkative girl with a big bushy tail and oddly long legs. (Adorable). She's friendly and likes to lie on top of you (or share your pillow) at night, but she's not a lap cat... she's happy to be nearby.

Tori has claimed the little cat tent as her own and loves to zoom around the house then dive into the tent! She also stashes toys in there- her foster dumped it out recently to find some catnip mice, other toys, a sharpie, a sock, and a pair of reading glasses.

They both tolerate other cats. Tori is passive and gets along well with others, Dori wants to be the boss and we've had a few slap fights but nothing super-agressive. We are unsure about dogs or children.

They are used to a relatively quiet household with few guests but they do eventually show themselves when the foster does have company.

Tori and Dori are both FIV positive. This means they can live very normal lives with regular and consistent vet care and vaccinations. FIV+ cats can live with FIV- cats as long as there is no fighting amongst the kitties. But these 2 are already a pair. Contact us if you would like more information on them and how fantastic FIV+ cats can be.
