Meet Dolce and Gabbana
Meet Dolce and Gabbana, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 14 weeks old.
These short-haired black kittens were recently discovered along with their mom in the crawlspace of a home in Capitol Hill. As they were found out in the world around 10 weeks old, they did not receive the proper socialization necessary for their development, but they have made great strides with care in their foster parent home! They do not react in any aggressive way, instead retreating when scared.
Dolce is a sweet, playful, and funny little dude. His favorite toys are the ribbon wand and anything that flies in the air. He goes hard when he plays and is quite the jumper! Churu tube treats are his favorite snack and have been pivotal in his training and socializing. Dolce no longer runs and hides when you come in the room and is becoming more amenable to spending time closely with humans.
Gabbana is a gorgeous golden-eyed girl. Gabbana’s favorite toys are the Cat Dancer toy and anything that flies in the air. She’s also a big fan of cardboard boxes and loves Churu tube treats. While still shy, she is becoming more amenable to spending time closely with humans. With consistent training, she will overcome these fears!
What Dolce and Gabbana are looking for in a home:
- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have no known history with cats outside their own family.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.
