Meet DJ
My name is DJ. I'm an absolutely adorable polydactyl kitty! You may have heard about my story -- I was one of nineteen cats who were dropped off outside the shelter.
The humans here worked hard to teach us that we were all safe and look at me now! I was so scared when I first arrived and now I am like a different kitty! I am super vocal; I always like to meow and tell you about my day. I meow extra loud when you have kitty treats just to make sure you know that I would like some.
I like when you come say hi to me! I will come up to the front of my kennel to ask for affection and attention! I am a lovable, gentle boy; I just need some time to get used to things.
I'm obviously accustomed to living with other nice cats. If you have friendly and welcoming felines, that may provide me with comfort!
If I smell treats or catnip, that encourages me and has worked! What has helped most is when you talk quietly to me and pet me. I will purr lightly to let you know that it helps me!
I'm about three years old and am neutered. I'd be honored if my second chance was with you. Love, DJ.
