Meet Dixie

Pretty girl Dixie is a little over a year old. She came to Cat Tales through a trapping project at a campground in Upper Bucks Co. She had five kittens with only one survivor. Dixie is quiet and enjoys watching life at a distance. She likes her face and head being scratched but is very hesitant and seems afraid of being picked up. Her foster family is still working with gaining her trust with this. She enjoys a cat tree to watch what's going on around her. She has also starting nursing a young orphaned foster kitten that is not hers. Dixie is patient with her own son and new foster little girl kitty. Dixie enjoys grooming the two kittens she has in her care. She likes playing with the orange pyramid track ball toy. She also enjoys laying on the corrugated paper cat scratchers to pass the time. Dixie likes being pet on her cheeks and head but is still learning to trust humans. She will do best in a quiet home with humans who are patient, giving her the time she needs to feel comfortable enough to come out of her shell and doesn't have a lot of excitement going on.

All kitties from Cat Tales will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before they go to their homes. Please note that most kittens are not big/old enough for spay/neuter until they reach approximately 12 or 13 weeks. Most kittens posted here are below that age, so please note their DOB here and understand that they will not be ready for adoption until they have been fully vetted.
