Dillon was found as a kitten at 2-3 months old back in Jan. 2019 in a parking lot cart corral between 2 carts in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He was found by an employee and is now a WPR kitten and living in a foster home. He is now up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and neutered.
Dillon spent 2 months in isolated foster care recovering from several medical conditions which arose from from his condition when found. Apart from one more topical treatment coming up in 2 months, Dillon is 100% recovered and a happy healthy kitten. The vet did say that his clipped ear was not done by a vet, it is an injury or frostbite.
Now with another month learning to interact with other cats and dogs, he is now 6 months old (as of June 2019) and available for adoption.
Dillon is friendly and does well with other cats and is OK with friendly dogs after a slow introduction. He is litter-box trained. He is friendly, and sometimes like to cuddle, and is very easy going. He is very independent and not afraid to stand up for himself. Actually our two dogs and a 90lbs foster dog are hesitant to go near him.
He likes to play with toys and is fairly active. He is litter box trained. He is friendly, and sometimes like to cuddle, and is very easy going. He can be obsessive about food.
He is a great kitten and ready to be adopted into a forever home. He would be great in a home with kids, dogs or other cats.
Dillion's adoption fee is $95.00.
WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
