Hi, I'm Diego - a sleek, black, ridiculously handsome gentleman of a cat. My humans tell me I'm beautiful, and honestly... they're not wrong. I came from a crowded hoarding home, so I'm still learning what it means to be safe and loved. Loud noises used to make me jump, and new people were a little scary, but every day I'm discovering that gentle hands, soft beds, and warm laps are actually pretty wonderful things. I love just being warm and safe - quietly hanging out in the same room, supervising whatever the humans aredoing, or curling up close by. I'm not demanding; I just like knowing I belong. Every day my confidence grows a little more, and I'm hoping to find my forever home I'm Diego, and I would love you to take a chance on me! Please meet me soon. I would love to be in a home for Christmas.

When you find an animal you’re interested in, complete an adoption application at houstonpetsalive.org/adopt. You will be contacted within 24 hours of receiving your application. Completing an application neither guarantees nor binds you to an animal. We will set up a meet and greet with you and the pet.
