Dia Balinese Madison, WI

DIA is a 11 month old TORTI POINT BALINESE. She weighs seven pounds, has her claws, is fully vaccinated, is microchipped, and is spayed. She came to our rescue from an overwhelmed owner who could no longer care for her cats. When first arriving at her foster home she was very frightened and very shy. Dia is quite vocal and has a “meezer” volume of a voice and isn’t shy in telling you when she is hungry or when she would like some petting. She eats like a champ and has perfect bathroom manners.

Her coat is silky smooth and she enjoys grooming with a short bristled brush. She is still learning to become a lap cat and can tolerate being held for short periods of time. Her foster mom believes with patience and time, she may eventually become a real love bug. All of this is huge for Dia considering when she first arrived she burrowed deep inside a cat cube and not want much to do with people. She has just recently discovered wand toys are fun and one of her favorite things to do is hang out in front of the window and watch wildlife. Dia would be best suited in a home with one other quiet cat, no dogs, older respectful children.
