Deuce is a handsome boy with stunning white lines around his green eyes. He's on the big side at 18 lbs ( he doesn't eat like it ) but is so graceful as he leaps through the air to get to the top of his cat tower. I pull the tower next to me when I'm working and he gives little baby meows when he wants your attention and lots of head butts to get you to keep massaging his neck... it's become very difficult to type with one hand!
He hid under his blank for 4 weeks and it took the 5th week to open up to me so he's just starting to show his playful side . I bought him some electronic toys to stimulate him and he seems to love them! He uses his litter box and his scratching post regularly.

Deuce is a sensitive boy, his owner passed away and I could tell he was heartbroken. When he's lying on his side and you gently rub your finger from the top of his nose, up his forehead to the back of his head ....he starts purring , looks up at you to make eye contact and then closes his eyes again because he feels safe. He just needs time, he'll be a loyal and fun companion. Deuce needs an extremely quiet environment, he goes back under his blanket when he gets nervous or fearful.
