Meet Deuce

For inquiries, contact jean@staf.org. Information and application are at www.staf.org.
At STAF, we believe in second chances so we were more than happy to find a special place for Deuce! This adorable tabby was brought in as a kitten with a broken leg, rescued from an outside colony. He recovered perfectly and has grown into a magnificent 21-pound boy with the looks of a champ! Initially quite shy and still somewhat timid, Deuce is now eager for attention and LOVES to play like a tiny kitten. He especially loves wand toys and kitty tunnels (size extra large!). Not knowing exactly the circumstances by which he was born outside to fend for himself, we understand that he requires a very special owner who will have the patience to make him feel comfortable and safe. Deuce is still a little wary of strangers and does not like to be picked up. But he loves a gentle touch and playtime. He gets along fine with other cats, although despite his size he can sometimes be bullied. Deuce doesn't realize that his stately presence makes him hard to miss and most certainly, with his humble personality, he definitely needs the encouragement to match his fabulous stature. With a name like Deuce, we know if you are the right player, he can win the set!
