Do you have room in your heart for a chonky boy? I’m Delta, but my favorite people sometimes call me “Delta Heavy!”

I’ve been waiting for my forever home since July 2020, but no one has wanted to take me home, even though I’m all dressed up for a party in my handsome tuxedo, bright white whiskers, and dashing half mustache. That’s because I had kind of a hard start to life, and when I meet a new person, it takes me a few days to believe that they’re safe to trust. After that, I want to be their best friend! But no one ever seems to want to give me the chance.

Once you’re my friend, I’ll show you how much I love you by flopping over at your feet and rolling around, showing off my extra-soft black and white tummy for you to admire. I love to be petted, and I would be your best, best, BEST friend if you’d consider giving me a little snack now and then. (I’m not sure if you can tell, but I’m starving…fading away from sheer hunger. Don’t listen to the humans tell you otherwise! I’ve never even had ONE snack in my whole life.)

I would be happy as an only kitty, or with one or two brothers or sisters. I love to be petted, but I still find a lot of other things scary, especially being caught or carried. I keep hoping there is a family out there who will understand, and love me where I feel safe.

If that’s you, I promise I have a lot to offer! In addition to my qualifications as a fancy gentleman and extra-chonky BFF, I’m gentle, quiet, neutered, and totally healthy, including all my shots. If you adopt me, I’ll get right to work making sure any cat trees you have get laid in, especially any carpeted tubes.
