Meet Deano
Hello, Dr. Deano here and I would like to talk to you today about the psychology of the color orange, especially since it pertains to me! Orange is an energetic color, bringing out feelings of excitement, enthusiasm, and warmth. It is bright, happy, and uplifting, full of vibrancy and fun (like me!). Orange cats (and the people who love them) are usually warm-hearted, agreeable, optimistic, extroverted, cheerful, and adventurous. Sounds like me so far! Our deepest need is to be with people, to socialize with and be accepted by them. I'm a people person! Orangies rejuvenate in the most difficult moments and move on easily from life's set-backs. Now, what about Garfield you might be thinking? He's orange, but also fat, lazy, cynical, sarcastic, arrogant, and selfish! Well, some orangies can be overbearing, self-indulgent, pessimistic, and overly proud like our lasagna loving fatcat, but not me! I love to play, especially with the laser pointer, and then flop down by your side, my motor rumbling the whole time! Orange restores balance to physical and emotional energy--I'm not too crazy and not too lazy! So whatever the shade--orange, tangerine, apri"cat", marmalade, or ginger, I'm a loving, calming, charming guy who would flourish in a home without other cats. Love me, feed me, never leave me, and I will be the most well-adjusted cat you could hope for! So stop by my office and ask for an appointment with Dr. Deano, the cat "therapist" with orange appeal! I have a PhD in LOVE!
