Meet Darrell
Meet Darrell!
Darrell has spent the last several months living among a feral cat colony, but make no mistake—he is not feral. He’s friendly, affectionate, and clearly longing for human companionship. This young, PETITE boy is already neutered, up to date on vaccines, and absolutely adores being petted. All he needs now is someone to say, “You’re home.”
But time is running out for Darrell. Unlike the ferals he lives with, Darrell doesn’t know how to hide from danger. He risks wandering into the road or venturing into yards with dogs that won’t tolerate him. He’s in a truly unsafe situation, and he urgently needs a loving, protective home where he can finally let his guard down.
Might we mention just one royal decree... Darrell wants to be the only feline in his castle. Once he’s the star of the show, this little guy will melt into the sweetest cuddle buddy who just wants to be loved and feel secure. He may be ok with dogs in the home if they give him some space to adjust. He would be best with older kids or teenagers. He's fine with being picked up and loves to be petted. Wet food is his favorite!
A calm indoor/outdoor setup where he can adjust slowly could be a possibility—but the ideal life for Darrell would be as an indoor cat, safe, cherished, spoiled and truly SAFE like he’s always deserved to be.

Transport & Vetting:
This cat is currently in Gulfport, Mississippi and local adopters are welcome. For out-of-town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many areas.
All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
